Behind The Mike; The Internet Show About...Whatever!
Behind The Mike is the actual building block to the entire WBTM Network. In July, 2006 Joel Michalec transformed into Big 80s Joey Mike and brought Philly native Vida along for an adventurous ride into the world of podcasting. Behind The Mike was born.
The show started as a pre-recorded podcast each week that relied on an open format with various topics. After the first year, Behind The Mike joined the Blog Talk Radio network and became a live show. During the time there, Lady B joined the staff as did K the Intern. The show began to grow and it was evident that the concept of a network was beginning with the other productions from Joel.
The show took on more volunteer staff and the bricks were laid for WBTM.
Behind The Mike airs LIVE on Saturdays at 10:30 PM EST/9:30 PM Central.
